Why is Chicken Good for You

Chicken has two main things going for it:

  1. It helps you maintain and build muscle. Chicken is an excellent source of protein, a major building block for muscles. An average chicken breast has around 27g of protein.
  2. It's perfect for low fat diets. Unlike red meats like beef and pork, there's very little fat in chicken. This makes it a great choice for anyone looking to fill up while keeping their fat intake low.

What Herbs and Spices Work Well with Chicken

Chicken has a fairly mild flavour, so eating it plain all the time can get boring fast. Luckily, the fact that it's mild flavoured means it's perfect for spicing up.

Herbs, spices and sauces can all add bags of flavour to the humble chicken.
